Q: Is my modality (hot stone massage, cupping, etc.) covered?
A: If your massage license allows you to practice a modality, you are covered to perform it.
Q: How quickly will I receive proof of insurance?
A: When you purchase the policy online, your licensing information will be confirmed. As soon as your information is confirmed and your signature (if required) and payment are received, you will be able to print out your proof of insurance.
Q: When will my policy go into effect?
A: Your policy will go into effect the same day you purchase it and will remain in effect for one year.
Q: Can I add an additional insured to my policy?
A: Yes! There are no extra charges for additional named insureds. This means you are covered to work at multiple work sites, including your private practice, for a spa, or for someone else.
Q: What do I do if I have a claim?
A: When you have a claim, your first communication should be with Risk Strategies. Contact Susan Leeming via phone (800-385-9622) or email (sleeming@risk-strategies.com). You will need to provide her with a copy of the demand letter and any other communications in connection with the claim.
Q: Can I cancel my policy and get a refund?
A: No, once purchased, your policy will remain in effect for one year. We are unable to prorate.
